This section includes samples of work with C#. C# can be used to create software tools complementing ESRI's ArcGIS. They can be compiled into DLL's that are run from ESRI's ArcGIS interfaces ArcMap and ArcCatalog. C# can also be used to create EXE's that perform geoprocessing tasks (using ESRI's objects), outside of the ArcGIS interfaces. Both of these types of tools have been of primary interest in my search to replace functionality previously available with AML.
