Arc Macro Language (AML) Samples
Following are some examples of AML modules written and used as tools. They still work well and have been used to help create proper coverage topology - which has "magically" seemed to fix problems with datasets in geodatabases or shapefiles:
Polylabelerrors - details of coverage label errors are explained within INFO database records.
Updatetopology - rebuilds coverage topology and creates unique ID’s for features.
Coverage Editor Application (AML, INFO & Visual Basic)
The Coverage Editor was built over many years and used as a substantial coverage editing tool. It was still used during my time at the University of Redlands (2006-2007) and for client work (2008)even within the ArcGIS 9.2 environment. There are many coverage datasets in existence today and this tool allows me to continue to work with them. (Requires Expert Installation) |
